Your Steam player profile
Paste a public Steam profile URL. We analyze owned games to show what most likely drives this player.
How we count games: we only include games played at least 30 minutes. The more a game is played, the more influence it has on the final profile.
Required Steam privacy settings
Gameaton reads your library through the official Steam Web API. If any of the settings below are restricted, the analysis cannot run—even when your profile page looks public in a browser.
In Steam: open your profile → Edit Profile → Privacy Settings, then set:
- My profile — Public (so we can resolve your profile URL)
- Game details — Public (required to list owned games)
- Playtime — Public (required so Steam reports how long you played each game; hidden playtime blocks meaningful analysis)
After changing these settings, wait a minute and try again. Only public profiles you are allowed to view can be analyzed.
Accepted formats: `steamcommunity.com/id/...` or `steamcommunity.com/profiles/...`. Your library and playtime must be public—see Required Steam privacy settings above.

How to use the graph
- Larger outlined dots: games you already own.
- Dotted line: distance from a library game (selected in the strip) to the game you compare on the map.
- Hover a dot for a preview; click to compare it in the panel on the right.
- Library strip above the map: sorted by playtime — click a game to zoom in and set it as the line origin.
Only games mapped in Gameaton can be sent. If fewer than 5 are available, we automatically send the maximum available and show a notice.
